Bona Dea was drizzling rain by the afternoon. The ponds continued to thaw out. The usual birds from the recent posts were flittering about. There were still Mallard Ducks in the upper end of Prarie Creek. Both ducks and geese flew in late to Black Water Swamp. This is the only pond in the Sanctuary where they go for the night. See Photo.
