Bona Dea was somewhat warmer today. An interesting sight was a Killdeer hopping around on the ground by Burger King Resturant close to the Park. Also several flocks of White Throated Sparrows all over the ground at the Old Shortie Trail. Pics of the birds from allaboutbirds.com. Flocks of Boattailed Crackels flew high overhead. Several male Cardinals were grouped together by the picnick tables and were very pretty with all that much red hopping around. Robins were in number. Gulls flying overhead. One Grey Squirrl kept feeding on the ground around me.
