These photos are of the Cottonmouth snake mentioned in the post below. You can see on one of the photos where he is sticking his mouth out and one showing the back of its head and the pit vipor jaws where the poisnious fangs are. They are attracted to movement and this one stopped and came back toward me when it spotted me. One photo shows it leaving the water and climbing the bank. Wouldn't you like to hold and pet it? LOL
