Two of these photos showing the spring type inflow and the water going underground and coming up beside Prarie Creek. 3 photos showing the beaver dam as mentioned in the post below. The photo looking upsteam showing the height and length of this dam the beavers keep rebuilding at the same spot each year after floods destroy it. This dam creates a deeper pool of water behind it.

I live in the UK and you have very different wildlife where you are. It has made me think I need to incorporate a bit more about our local wildlife in my own blog.
